Since its inception, Spark Bureau has been providing low-cost shared office space for progressive thinking entrepreneurs, start-ups and established businesses keen to tap into the Sunshine Coast’s rapidly diversifying local economy.
Originally, we were located in the heart Maroochydore’s thriving Ocean Street precinct. We enjoyed our time there and the support provided not only by our members but also our patient supportive landlord.
However, we all need to be up for change. One of our members GoLogic grew to such an extent that they were in a position to take over the whole of the Spark Bureau premises. They had been such great members that we happy to move out and hand the space over to them and make the journey down Nicklin way to Level 1, 8 Innovation Parkway, Birtinya. Right next door to the Poole Group.
This space was formally the Sunshine Coast Head Office for Stockland. We were fortunate that Stockland agreed to leave behind a tremendous fit out that could be shared with our local Sunny Coast Business Entrepreneurs and visiting businesses.
We have just completed refurbishing our foyer and meeting rooms and are now moving onto additional office spaces and new media room. Moving to our new home has also allowed us to make some changes as to how we do business.
Our new facilities offer:
- A Gigabit of fibre capacity;
- More meeting spaces, including flexible configuration;
- Improved technology connections;
- Covid safe desk space;
- Designated office space that creates both security and privacy;
- An opportunity to design an office.
Our new space provides the ideal environment for conducting business in a vibrant, progressive and smart setting. And the best part we continue to offer accommodation packages at very competitive rates.
SPARK also will continue to offer venue hire and event planning, arranges social activities, business meetings, conferences and seminars, all of them catered and everything supplied.
But that’s not all!
We’re also continuing to offer a range of programs with Support from Advance Queensland.
Stay tuned for special event notifications and training.
Economic Contribution of Regions to Australia's Prosperity
“Regional Australia contributes one third of our national output and is home to 8.8 million Australians. As a result, regions provide employment for one in three working Australians. Regional Australia makes a formidable contribution to the nation’s economy. In fact, without its contribution, Australia’s economy would contract to the size it was in 1997.”
Regional Australia Institute
second-highest performing regional economy in Queensland
“The Sunshine Coast economy is one of the largest regional economies in Australia, with a current gross regional product of more than A$16 billion...The economy is predicted to grow in a strong and sustainable pattern over the next 20 years to reach A$33 billion in 2033, accompanied by an increase in high-value employment, export and household income.”
