About Spark

Since its inception, Spark Bureau has been providing low-cost shared office space for progressive thinking entrepreneurs, start-ups and established businesses keen to tap into the Sunshine Coast’s rapidly diversifying local economy.
Conveniently located in the heart Maroochydore’s thriving Ocean Street precinct, our state of the art and architecturally designed workspace, board & conference rooms, multimedia studio and state of the art facilities provide the ideal environment for conducting business in a vibrant, progressive and collaborative setting. And the best part...we’re a not-for-profit organisation which means you can enjoy all of these benefits for a fraction of what you would pay for conventional office space.
SPARK also offers venue hire and event planning, arranges social activities, business meetings, conferences and seminars, all of them catered and everything supplied.
But that’s not all! We’re also the centre for contemporary business on the Sunshine Coast! In addition to providing exceptional co-working space, our mission includes fostering innovation and supporting the growth and development of entrepreneurs and small businesses.
We do this by providing mentoring, advice, expert tuition and access to cutting edge technology for Sunshine Coast entrepreneurs and businesses. From learning an accounting software program, to understanding the techniques of marketing, managing human resource issues, Spark Bureau offers these workshops at attractively low prices for the general public and free for those who take out a SPARK membership.
Economic Contribution of Regions to Australia's Prosperity

“Regional Australia contributes one third of our national output and is home to 8.8 million Australians. As a result, regions provide employment for one in three working Australians. Regional Australia makes a formidable contribution to the nation’s economy. In fact, without its contribution, Australia’s economy would contract to the size it was in 1997.”

Regional Australia Institute

second-highest performing regional economy in Queensland

“The Sunshine Coast economy is one of the largest regional economies in Australia, with a current gross regional product of more than A$16 billion...The economy is predicted to grow in a strong and sustainable pattern over the next 20 years to reach A$33 billion in 2033, accompanied by an increase in high-value employment, export and household income.”
