Room Booking Frequently Asked Questions

Where can we park?
There’s plenty of free 2-hour limit parking on the streets and a large car park opposite Wharf Street on Duporth Avenue with a limited number of all-day parking spots (arrive early).

What’s the cancellation policy?
Room booking cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hrs prior to your booking. (We hope to keep it this way, with our patron’s help and support - thanks for your consideration.)

What’s the go with snacks, refreshments, food and beverage?
Ocean Street enjoys one of the Sunshine Coast’s greatest concentrations of coffee shops, restaurants and bars. We have partnership agreements with:

We can help you source snacks, refreshments, food and beverage from our partners, or you are more than welcome to BYO / engage alternative catering providers.

Do we need to bring our own dry-erase markers?
Dry-erase markers can be purchased from us for whiteboard sessions, or please feel free to BYO if you’re going to need a bunch of different colours and larger numbers for bigger workshops.

What cables do we need to connect computers to the TV in the boardroom?We have Chromecast available for use which will connect to any device using Google Chrome.

Wired back-up (HDMI cable and Apple Connectors) is also available to cover any last minute technical hitch that may come along with wireless options. 

If you do have specific adaptors for your computer, it is strongly encouraged for you to bring them with you.
